Welcome to Wolvey Angling Club
Our Story
According to records our journey began back in 1994 with a group of individuals drinking at The Blue Pig pub in Wolvey, Warwickshire. What started out as informal matches turned into what we have today, Wolvey Angling Club.
Those instigators of the club are sadly no longer with us but through the years we have evolved into a club that has tried to keep step with modern commercial fishing yet still maintaining the values it was founded on.
Historically we have always fished on a Sunday visiting various fisheries in the local area.
Our Objective
At Wolvey AC, the friendships made on the bank are the important things. We try to provide a cost effective way of match fishing where the emphasis is not all about the money. The banter between friends is just as valuable.
We're relatively small in numbers but looking to expand giving other like minded people the chance to enjoy this wonderful sport in the company of others.
